Mission Statement
To support the growth and progress of the overall Instrumental Music Department at Firelands High School. To positively support and assist the current Band Director and all students in the program through economic and moral needs.

A Special Thank you to the Band Boosters! During the past few years the Boosters have worked hard in helping the director with his goal of completely updating and replace items in the Band Program. Some of them (with the help of other wonderful community members) are: 100 New uniforms, 100 New raincoats, 5 Dynasty Bass Drums, 5 Dynasty Snare Drums, 2 Dynasty Quad Tenor Drums, 50 Wenger music stands with racks, a recording unit, and Sheet Music. Thank you past and present Boosters for your support and donations!

Meetings:
The regular meetings of the organization shall be at 7:00p.m. on the third Monday of every month in the FHS band room or Library.
Objectives:
The Objectives of the Firelands Band Boosters, a non-profit organization, are as follows:
Section 1
. To arouse and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the various phases of the instrumental music department of Firelands High School.Section 2.
To develop ways in which interested parents and friends of the school may be of service to the school’s instrumental music programs and become actively engaged in the Band Boosters.Section 3.
Maintain a sound relationship and open forum with other school organizations to foster a positive flow of resources and information between the groups.Section 4.
Maintain a sound relationship and open forum with key school officials and board members to foster a positive flow of resources and information between them and the Band Boosters.Section 5.
To cooperate with those in charge of the music department, school administration, and the school board to uphold the highest possible degree of efficiency; to build and maintain an organization that will help promote the general activities of the Firelands High School instrumental music department.Section 6.
Solicit and record gift and endowment funds for programs as determined each fiscal year.Section 7.
To make purchases, donations and provide financial support for equipment and activities for the high school instrumental music department as requested by the Band Director each fiscal year.
